Choosing a Tripod, Holder or Stand

A stable stand protects your equipment and improves the quality of photos, videos, presentations and performances. The correct model depends on what it must support. Smartphone creators may need a phone clamp and adjustable height, while DSLR cameras and video cameras require a stronger mounting platform. Microphones, guitars and music sheets each use different stand designs.

Check before ordering

• Maximum supported weight and practical working height.
• Phone clamp, camera screw or specialised mounting connection.
• Floor space, folded length and portability.
• Required movement, tilt, rotation or tracking function.

Do not place heavy equipment on a lightweight stand simply because the connector fits. For church media, interviews or product filming, stability should come before extra height. Send us the model and approximate weight of your equipment if you need help choosing.
